Golden Jubilee!
Our much loved Archbishop Nikolaos celebrated 50 years as a priest in 2011 and a Mass of thanksgiving, which was attended by Fr Luke, was celebrated in St Denis’ Cathedral in Athens.
Born December 11th 1936 in Komi on the island of Tinos, His Grace was ordained as a Catholic priest in 1961 and became a bishop in 1973. In that same year he became Catholic Archbishop of Athens and later was added the title of Apostolic Administrator of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Rhodes. We send His Grace our very best wishes and hope he will continue with us for many years to come.
